Ford First Alert Forecast - Very Windy with Rain Becoming Snow

19 ACTION NEWS FIRST ALERT FORECAST

FRIDAY:? Increasingly windy.? Few rain showers this morning, then mixing with and changing to all snow showers late this afternoon.? High: 48, but falling to the mid 30s late this afternoon.? Wind: S at 5-15 mph increasing to 25-35 mph with gusts near 50 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT:? Windy with snow showers accumulating 1-4".? Low: 27? Wind: W at 25-30 mph with gusts to 40 mph.

SATURDAY.? Windy with lake effect snow showers.? High: 34

The big story with this storm will be the wind.? A wind advisory goes into effect at 9am until at least 8pm tonight.? Expect wind gusts near 50 mph and the concern for downed trees and perhaps power outages.? Late this afternoon the front will pass, and much colder air will filter in with rain showers becoming all snow showers.? Expect 1-4" by Saturday morning with additional lake effect snow Saturday.? Then a dry pattern builds in for Sunday into early next week.??
